Grand View is aptly named. This marvelous mountain bungalow does indeed offer grand views of the Shenandoah River valley and Blue Ridge Mountains. Its living/dining great room has a cathedral ceiling and a free-standing fireplace. A wrap-around deck is accessible from the living room, and two of the three bedrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is one bathroom. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed and it, too, overlooks the valley and mountains.

Grand View is cozy and romantic for couples, yet with three bedrooms, can sleep up to seven people. Don't pass the small lake without notice. It is on the left once you turn onto Riverview Drive. The fishing is great! In fact, in our little "Hamlet on the Hillside" there are numerous fishing spots. The George Washington National Forest, which surrounds us, has a 15 acre pond with public and handicapped access and a dock. Our legendary Shenandoah River has some of the best small-mouth bass fishing in addition to being it's own wonderful playground. Swimming, canoeing, kayaking, tubing, rafting are all conveniently available.

Forest Glen is the ultimate accommodation for entertaining. Two huge decks help add to the feeling of spaciousness in this 3 bedroom lodging. Two full baths are a feature large groups enjoy. Yet, even a couple will appreciate the many amenities this Virginia cabin rental affords.

All 3 bedrooms open onto the back deck. Just beyond lies the forest; further still- the mountains. The front deck is convenient to the kitchen and is complete with a -gas grill, table and plenty of chairs.

Interior furnishings include VCR, great sound, a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave and coffeepot. There is also a small loft accessible by ladder. Comfort is accentuated with air-conditioning in the summer and a gas fireplace in the winter. Anyone can build this fire!

Also, the Luray Caverns are close, as well as vineyards, antiquing, and other shopping.
