Activities in the Area
Big Bear Lake, sits on top of the San Bernardino Mountains. This area is well know for its hiking and biking trails. The climate is Alpine like with pleasant temperatures in the summer and moderate California winters. This is also a popular area for fishing. The lake is well stocked. Many people bring their boats and spend their entire day on the lake. Sailing is another popular lake activity. Often the lake will experience beautiful winds coming up over the dam. In the winter, our mountains enjoy a beautiful covering of snow, sometimes lasting as late as June. Both boarders and skiers alike.
