A variety of options and amenities are offered in each accommodation. A total of nine cottages are available, each featuring a private bath and one to six bedrooms. Each cottage is equipped with basic cookware, dishes, air conditioning, cable television, and outdoor barbecue grills. Some cottages include fireplaces, futons, washer and dryers, screened-in porches, sleeper sofas, and/or bunk beds. At Camp Merryelande, there is a cottage just right for you and your family to enjoy. Tent sites are also available in-season for those who want to rough it, with shower and laundry facilities available.
Activities in the Area
Would you like to catch your own crab dinner off the pier? Have you ever tried wading through the seaweed seeking the elusive soft shell crab? Or, perhaps you just want to sit in the gazebo on the pier and listen to the waves go by. The setting can be as active or as relaxed as you would like. Camp Merryelande is nestled on 1,500 linear feet of private beach only 20 yards from your deck. Fantastic crabbing, fishing, swimming, sailing, and boating can be found out your front door. In a location ideal for catamarans and other day sailers, you may dock your boat on the beach. A well-equipped public ramp is one mile away for power boats, and local charter boat fishing excursions and Skipjack tours are offered daily.
