Summer is here! We now have a new rental policy--only one rental party within a four-week period--it can be a weekend, or week, or the whole month. CALL NOW ! We just added a phone for local service--long distance requires a pre-paid phone card. Also, we now have a new 19" TV and VCR/DVD player. Come up the mountain to enjoy a weekend or your vacation at this beautiful year-round LARGE log cabin (house!--1400 sq. ft.)--on the Mogollon Rim--(7500 ft. elev.)--the perfect retreat! Located at Forest Lakes --only 2 1/2 hours NE of Phoenix--40 miles east of Payson, just off Hwy 260, on a cul-de-sac ACRE lot in the middle of the Ponderosa pine forest. Only 15 miles east Christopher Creek and Kohl's Ranch and 5-8 miles east of Willow Springs and Woods Canyon Lakes in the beautiful Sitgreaves National Forest. It has a beautiful wood paneled high ceiling in Great Room with full kitchen, large new table in the dining room and new couches. We don't have a fireplace, but we do have a safe pellet stove for your real fire watching enjoyment. The cabin is perfect for ONE large family with kids or TWO small families at one time. There is a full bathroom, 2 large downstairs bedrooms--each with a KING bed, spacious upstairs loft with 2 twin beds, 1 double bed and twin rollaway. We have a picnic table and outdoor grill on the covered porch, along with a comfortable porch swing --perfect for watching the abundant wildlife. All linens provided and PETS--both dogs and cats are permitted, but NO SMOKING is allowed inside. Near 2 mountain lakes with boating (we provide the 4 person rowboat!), fishing, horseback riding, cross-country skiing trails, hiking trails, and LOTS of wildlife. All you need is your own food--we provide everything else you need--especially PRIVACY and SECLUSION. You will not find a more inexpensive place or be disappointed when you arrive!
