Cedar detailing inside and out makes the Gatehouse truly unique. The Gatehouse is located far from the highway, at the end of the road, on the eastern tip of Woodbury Point (seen below; right) on unspoiled Kootenay Lake.

The Gatehouse offers allergen-free accommodation (no pets or smoking) and is fully furnished. It has a fine galley kitchen containing everything you might need.




Activities in the Area

The Gatehouse is six minutes away from the famous caves and pool at Ainsworth Hot Springs. It is fifteen minutes from the charming town of Kaslo, B.C. There is great year-around fishing, a wide choice of challenging and lovely local golf courses, swimming, boating, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, and much much more. The unspoiled natural setting, near Kokanee Glacier Park offers superb hiking as well.


Current Rates


May thru October: $112.50 (Canadian) per day, and $625 per week.
Daily summer rates drop to $95 beginning with the third day.
November thru April: $100 per day, and $585 per week.
Daily winter rates drop to $90 beginning with the third day.
All rates above are for single or double occupancy.
Special Honeymooners rate: 4 nights for $385
