The kitchen if full equipped for your cooking needs, down to the mini food processor! You might want to throw a couple of huge shrimp on the BBQ which are farmed a couple of miles up the road to the east.
Activities in the Area
From the Lanai you can gaze at the Ocean or just watch the palm trees dance their own version of the Hawaiian hula. Directly ahead you can see the island of Maui, which is approximately 9 miles from the unit. Although you may want to take a "day" trip on the Molokai-Maui ferry. The beach area at the waters edge is part of the Ancient Hawaiian Fishponds. Heading further East, you will enter Halawa Valley which is rich in foliage, waterfalls and beaches. There are great areas for fishing, if you like to bring your pole. The pool area is located at the Ocean's shore. It contains a small library and many tables for socializing, sitting or eating. There are 2 gas BBQ grills for you to utilize. Also you will find a small library of books, shuffle board court and bath facilities at the pool. The area is very relaxing and soothing.
