Near South Beach, this exciting large contemporary overlooks the picture perfect Herring Creek Farm. It features all glass filled rooms, a lovely kitchen with european cabinets, snack bar, dishwasher, thirty two feet of counter space, microwave, and a glassed in dining room. The fireplaced great room has a cathedral ceiling, opening to the solarium and deck. It is a reverse design home, having the four bedrooms on the first floor and the main living area on the second floor.




Eat in the glassed in dining room or relax in the fireplaced living area. This space features a beamed cathedral ceiling, track lighing, paddle fans, and sliding glass doors to both the solarium and child safe deck. The first floor bedrooms include, a master with queen size bed, private full bath and deck; and three others, one with a queen size bed and two with full-size beds, plus an additional full bath and separate laundry area with washer and dryer. Outside is an enclosed hot / cold shower and storage room for bicycles.

Activities in the Area

The unspoiled charm of Martha's Vineyard is probably best exemplified by the many scenic beaches located here. The beaches vary from protected, shallow, clear-water stretches on the northern and eastern sides of the Island to expanses of rumbling surf along the south side. Some beaches are open to the public without restriction, while others are reserved for residents and summer visitors who are staying in the towns where the beaches are located. To use these town beaches, one needs a parking and/or beach permit. Permits can be obtained by contacting the town hall in the appropriate community.
