Northwoods Retreat is complete with all the amenities of home. Come enjoy the Hiawatha National Forest and all the lakes and waterfalls it has to offer. Alger County is considered the snowmobile meca of the midwest. While here explore some of Lake Superior's beaches and 300 ft. sand stone bluff's. The cabin is fully furnished in a moose motif. The kitchen is fully furnished with a stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, silver ware, dishes, towels etc. The living room has a couch, lamps, small library and cable TV.




There is a deck that overlooks the river, the Autrain River provides excellent fishing, swimming, and canoeing as well as simple relaxation. Up river is the beautiful Autrain Lake which provides a favored place to water ski, jet ski, and to fish for Bass, Walleye or Pike. Down river is Lake Superior and one of the best beaches in the area. A canoe, row boat, paddle boat with canopy, and oars are all also provided, as well as life jackets to keep you safe during your visit. By the river there is a picnic table, benches and a fire pit with a supply of fire wood to help you relax and enjoy the outdoors.. Close by attractions Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore Seney Wildlife Refuge Hiawatha National Forest Alger Underwater Preserve Grand Island Recreational Area
