The entire studio has just finished being renovated and decorated to a very high standard. It is clean, calm, cozy and classy. The walls are white. The floor is tastefully made of parquet wood. The studio has been furnished and decorated to reflect both old and contemporary styles. There is also a new double sofa-bed which can sleep one or two people comfortably and a drop leaf table to eat on plus various old prints and paintings for decoration. To stay in touch with business, pleasure and the latest global news there is a satellite/cable television, digital radio, group three fax machine, multi-function telephone/answering machine, computer printer and dedicated telephone line with easy internet and e-mail access. The ceiling of the studio is made up of the original exposed wooden beams.
Activities in the Area
The studio itself is located in Rue de Laborde close to Boulevards Haussmann and Malesherbes. The Presidential Palace is less than five minutes walk away and his local bakery shop (where he buys his daily baguette) is next to the studio! Also close by is a supermarket, chemist, self service launderette, beauty salon, plus many clothes and gift shops. The area is well known for the variety of good restaurants, coffee shops, art galleries and the most beautiful park in Paris - Parc Monceau. The gardens of the Champs Elysees are a short walk away too.
