The apartment has air conditioning and a heater for the occasional chilly day in wintertime. Decorated with framed photographs by well known local artist Ian McDonald-Smith, lush plants, crisply painted walls and tasteful furniture , the apartment will appeal to the visitor who wants to rest serenely in pretty surroundings. The bed is queen sized. Additional furniture includes an arm chair and reading lamp, a table and chairs set and a generous chest of drawers, extra linens and plenty of hangars in the closet with room to store suitcases. Cable colour television provides 50 channels of viewing on a 19inch screen. There is a radio as well and an alarm clock. You can even send an Internet message back home via the hostess's Internet connection. The apartment has local phone service only. All overseas calls will require a calling card.
Activities in the Area
The bus stop into Hamilton is a one minute walk from the house and there is a convenience store near that bus stop. It is a seven minute ride on the bus into Hamilton where shopping and restaurants await you, as well as bus routes to all points on the island and the ferry service which plies the harbour.
