The Tidewater offers cozy and elegant accommodations while providing all the modern amenities. The Inn is within walking distance of village shops and close to three Long Island Sound beaches. All nine guest rooms are beautifully decorated and have private baths, TV, telephone with voice messaging system, air conditioning and both wireless and dial Internet access for your personal computer. Selected rooms have fireplace, jacuzzi, or canopy bed. Guests can relax by the fireplace in our beamed sitting room or outside under an umbrella in the English garden. Our shoreline area offers many opportunities for shopping, touring, relaxing, and dining.

The Tidewater Inn

The Tidewater sits on about two acres of property, in a residental area. As a bed and breakfast the Inn offers a cozy and elegant atmosphere of antiques and estate furniture, with a bit of Chinese influence and beautiful floral wallpapers. A full breakfast is served each morning. Snacks and soft drinks are always available in the guest refrigerator. In the evening guests can enjoy hot or iced tea or perhaps a glass of wine. For your convenience we have beach passes, menus from local restaurants, brochures about the area, and the daily newspapers.
