Doreen Visits Paris

Paris, the "City of Light", certainly lives up to it's name. I spent a week there and enjoyed every minute. I loved the Louvre and Musee D'Orsay with the great works of art. A performance at the Paris Opera House was an experiance with it's painted ceiling by Chagall. I enjoyed sitting at the sidewalk cafe's watching the people go by and talking to other patrons enjoying the spring air and coffee. Seeing the city spread out from the top of the Eiffel Tower and Arc De Triomphe was spectacular. Shopping down Boulevard St. Germaine is interesting and you can get some good bargains. Atrip to Notre Dame Cathedral is worth it just to see the Rose Window. It is a very imposing building with it's gothis architecture. I would like to go back sometime.
