Activities in the Area
Brown's Homestead is located on seventy acres of fields and woodlands which are available for hiking, observing wildlife, the sunset, and the stars. From the kitchen table or sitting on our patio, you will see numerous varieties of birds visiting our feeders. Wild turkeys and white-tailed deer often frequent our back fields. The Frenchtown area provides a wide variety of cultural, recreational, and historical opportunities. Visit several local award-winning wineries, browse through antique shops, and visit local speciality stores as well as outlets. Bike on Hunterdon's back roads and along the Delaware River Bike path. This is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy Frenchtown and the Delaware River, Bucks County, New Hope and Lambertville, Flemington, Clinton, and all of Hunterdon County.
