Very close to shopping, restaurants, mini-golf, trampoline village and even an aquaruim/zoo for the kids. Located Mid-Cape, so it's easy to travel to both ends and see everything!! Hyannis is the next town over, so you can even catch the ferry to Matha's Vineyard and/or Nantucket!! Parker's Beach is literally 1 block from the house. Take the path from the house through some pines, cross Shore Drive and there's the beach. There is a playground and a snack.
