A bit more time behind the wheel and you're in the hills, or on the Mediterranean (Marseilles, Cassis, etc.). Camargue is close for cowboys ala France. The auto route is nearby, and even rail service is possible. Fly into Avignon, or internationally from nearly anywhere to Marseilles. The Alps could be a day trip or overnight.




Then there is art! The country of VanGogh and so many others. Are you an artist or art lover? Inspiration is nearby. Bring your materials, or buy fresh in Aix. Finally, the owner, an accomplished artists, can point you in the direction of creating your own masterpieces.
