House and Guest Cabin  -  4  Bedroom -  2.5  Bath     (Sleeps   8  Comfortably)

This is a lovely hideaway only an hour north of San Francisco. Enjoy three private acres of California hillside with natural grasses, oaks, lush gardens and your own vineyard. The house is casual and warm, with French doors opening on each side to flagstone patios, decks, lawn and gardens. A private pool just outside the master bedroom is solar heated. Connected to the pool is an in-ground spa big enough for eight. A waterfall you can control by buttons in the house or at the spa tumbles into the pool. The Great Room houses the living room with fireplace, dining area and gourmet kitchen with a Viking range, a Sub Zero fridge and dishwasher. There are exposed beams and the ceilinng reaches 14 feet high. Just out the kitchen door is a large round deck with charcoal grill, an herb garden and dining table and chairs. Six lounges and Market umbrellas are available around the pool for relaxing in the sun. The bedrooms are brightly furnished with a French farm house feel. One, with a queen bed, has a double set of French doors opening onto a deck. One is small and cozy with a skylight and a double bed. The Master Bedroom has a King size bed in a very spacious room with views out all the windows. Wake up in bed to a great view of the pool and gardens.

At the high point of the property is "The Quinta". a white tent-cabin with a queen size bed, chairs and lamps and a small CD player. Its antique windows look out over the Sonoma Plain-- a stunning view-- and a huge patio with tables chairs, lounges and a small outdoor fireplace. A winding path leads to charming bathhouse including toilet , outdoor tub and a colorful Mexican sink. A double hammock available for snoozing in the shade. There are many wineries in the area. The Russian River Area, the town of Sonoma and Healdsburg are close and the Sonoma coast is within an hour. The Napa Valley is 45 minutes away. Much of this travel is over beautiful back roads.
