ACCOMMODATIONS
Cottage  -  3  Bedroom -  3  Bath     (Sleeps   2-6  Comfortably)

We have three luxury cottages, two of which face one another across a spacious courtyard, whilst the third nestles on it’s own beside the River Alne rendering it ideal for the keen fisherman. We call that one “The Bolt Hole”. All three are converted 18thC farm buildings, offering every comfort and amenity to ensure a carefree family holiday away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Each cottage is centrally heated, with a fully fitted kitchen including cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Bedrooms are en-suite with towels and bed linen all provided. Cottages are also equipped with television, video recorder and hi-fi – even your own private library. Guests are free to roam our 25 acres of farmland, stroll along the banks of the River Alne, or explore further afield on the well-marked bridleways and footpaths. Guests other than those staying in “ The Bolt Hole” are invited to make use of the fully equipped gymnasium and games room and our bubble domed swimming pool which is heated during the summer months.

The Bull Pen-2 to 6 persons This barn conversion faces 'The Old Forge'across a courtyard,so if your numbers exceed six you can always have both cottages.It also has two ground floor bedrooms for those who have difficulty with stairs. Ground/First Floor: entrance door into sitting room with colour TV+video and hifi leading off three ways:firstly,to fully fitted kitchen and dining area with French doors allowing access to garden.Secondly,upstairs via spiral staircase to double bedroom and en-suite,and lastly to,two ground floor bedrooms. Both are en-suite,one with old cast iron bath as well as a seperate power shower.Each of these bedrooms has kingsize beds and can also be converted into twin rooms. The Old Forge-2 to 6 persons An unusual internal layout,including woodburner and three staircases.Views across fields to rear.Ground Floor:entrance hall with table and telephone; sitting/dining room with woodburner; colour TV + video; fully fitted kitchen with door to courtyard.First Floor:Each bedroom has a seperate staircase.Two are spiral,with the en-suite on the ground floor and the spiral leading to bedroom area.These two bedrooms have kingsize beds or can be made into twin bedrooms.The third bedroom is only suitable for twin beds. All en-suites are with power showers,toilet and washbasin.
