Hale Kona Kai is the only truly oceanfront condominium within easy walking distance of Kailua-Kona. Having been built in 1970, our building has the unique advantage of sitting just feet from the waters edge. We try to keep our modest little home spotlessly clean (even with the large number of guests that visit us each year) and updated with new furnishings and artwork. If you want the convenience of staying "in town" plus the quiet seclusion of our little sidestreet hideaway then Hale Kona Kai is the perfect choice.

Lounge on your private lanai while you watch the whales and dolphins play. Right next door you can swim in a protected lagoon with giant sea turtles and tropical fish or sunbathe on the white sandy beach. Later, as the sun sets on paradise, listen (for free) to a romantic Polynesian serenade from your balcony. You can walk to the historic seaside village of Kailuas' dining, shopping, ocean sports and nightlife.

free nights stay when you reserve at least six nights with us during our "off" season.
less than six nights rates are $115/night for the "off season" that runs April 16 through December 13.
$125/night for the winter "high season" from December 14 through April 15.
cleaning fee of $79 and the Hawaii lodging tax of 11.4%
$10/night for a fourth person.
