Wolf range, microwave and dishwasher as well as basic condiments. Towels and linensare provided and the utility room has a washer and dryer. The study/library may be used as a bedroom, if necessary, by pullingout the convertible couch. There is a telephone with a private number for your use to receive and make local calls. Longdistance calls are possible with a credit card. The house is attractively decorated with antiques and memorabilia and has a piano and other musical instruments as well as a variety of games and an extensive library. A TV/VCR is available upon request.
Activities in the Area
Visit Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. Summer activites
include hiking, biking, fishing, and horse backriding. Winter
activites: Skiing: excellent cross-country and backcountry
opportunities, plus lift-serviced skiing at Jackson Hole and Grand
Targhee Resorts.
Rendezvous Chalet is located in a very peaceful and beautiful area at the mouth of Fox Creek Canyon on the west slope of the Teton Range along the Idaho/Wyoming border. Eight miles to the south and north are the Idaho towns of Victor (pop. 292) and Driggs (pop. 835). Air access is via Jackson Hole,WY Airport (50 mi.) or Idaho Falls,ID Airport (80 mi).
