Activities in the Area
O ur location is convenient to many local attractions. With only a short drive to Orlando, Florida, you can visit Walt Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios, Wet n’ Wild and many other theme parks that are must sees when visiting Florida. Tampa, Florida is only a 1 1/2 hour drive away, and is the home of Busch Gardens, a theme park offering wildlife from around the world, as well as many exciting rides and shows. While in Tampa, you might want to pay a visit to the historical Ybor City, with it’s strong cuban heritage and ecelctic mix of shops and restaurants. It’s nice to travel a little, but don’t forget to see some of the best sites right in Sarasota. We have a very active arts and entertainment culture. Take in a ballet at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall or maybe enjoy the incredible collection of original masters paintings at the Ringling Museum of Art. Most of all, don’t forget to take the time to relax on the beautiful beaches of Siesta Key. There’s something for everyone in Sarasota and we are sure you’ll enjoy your visit with us.
