Winter brings skiing and snowboarding and all activities are a short walk or if you prefer, a free shuttle bus ride away. Summer brings the refreshing mountain breezes and activities such as mountain biking, hiking in the renowned White Mountain National Forest, swimming at the town pond or from our riverfront deck. Golf and tennis are a short walk away. Also available is a full athletic club with all the usual amenities including indoor and outdoor pools. The town center has a number of shops and restaurants as well as an ice arena for summer and winter skating.
