I am a soon-to-be single dad looking for an inexpensive place on the AL or FL to take my 3 children for 2-3 nights. Those of you who have gone through a divorce know the feeling of being "cash-strapped" in the middle of this terrible process. So I need to find a condo that is a good bargain. Ranging from Gulf Shores to Destin is fine. My kids like staying right on the beach. Does anyone know of a mid-week condo available the week of June 28 or 2nd & 4th weeks of July that might be available at a good price?

Don't ruin your vacation in lovely Paris by renting from these BAD LANDLORDS. Deceitful Landlords: Web site is aparishomes.com. The bad landlady is Elisabeth Ban. She acts very nice but is cutthroat. She kept my $350 deposit for no reason. She assured me that I would receive my deposit if I left the place clean - I did - they approved. They said they would return my deposit after renting it out during the remainder of the term (I wanted out of there as soon as the taxi dropped me off! BAD Neighborhood). They did rent it and still no deposit returned! I even had a written agreement from them. Plus to add to all of this: 1) The apartment was in a seedy neighborhood. The flat itself is very nice but I did not feel safe going out at night. There were no nice cafes or shops nearby. You see lots of boarded up or closed businesses. 4 blocks away it is nice (which is what they photographed on their website as the neighborhood). The other apartment in Republique that they offered was also in a charmless neighborhood. Very seedy side street. Shops are all import/export warehouse type businesses. Republique Flat is nice but neighborhood is not. 2) Flat is next to an elementary school. Very loud in the early morning. 3)They offer no service since they do not live in Paris. My first day in Paris I had to cut my day short to show the apartment. I was 15 minutes late (the metro took longer than I thought) and the landlord blamed me. I am ruining my vacation to help them and they blame me! 4) There was an electrical problem - fuse blew. No fault of mine but there was a problem with the system. I had no lights in living room, tv or phone for 3 days. Again I had to wait for the electrician - No landlord to take care of it. Electrician did not show up for 2 of our appointments. The electrician stated it was nothing I did but Elisabeth again blamed me! I am a landlady myself and I know whats what. They are very slick and fake. There are so many nice places with nice landlords. Do not trust these - they lie! They do not post negative comments and comments posted are not about this apartment or . If any thing goes wrong these people make you pay. DO NOT LISTEN TO THEIR ASSURANCES - ALL BALONEY!!

Brand new holiday 5 bedroom teak wood home in Bangkok Taling Chan district. Suit family with children and animals as the place is safe and has a terrace under the elevated on stilts house.
Goes cheap, even short let - as I can't go on holidays to Bangkok as often as I use to go. At the moment stays there my daughter with her children, but she can move to my sister in law house just the next door.
A much better option of staying in Bangkok than the town centre, with it's noise, pollution, traffic jams and crowds of tourists. In a Taling Chan home-stay you will immerse yourself in a traditional lifestyle and learn a little bit about Thai culture and customs. Walks through the fruit orchards and flower groves make a very challenging experience.
There is nothing comparable to it in the whole of Thailand - a dream student home stay or a holiday accommodation.
It's by Thanon Wongwan Rob Nok and by the Klong Bang Tal - 5 minutes drive to South Bus Terminal (towards Kanchanaburi, Cha Am, Hua Hin, Phuket, Krabi and Malaysia) on Thonburi & 15 minutes to Chao Phraya River, Khaosan Rd, the Old King's Palace & the Wat Pho. There is also a frequent bus 556 to Suvarnabhumi Airport.
Around are traditional houses with orchards, gardens, peace and clean air.
You can feel here like living in the traditional thai willage - yet 5 minutes walk is 7/11 shop, cash machine and a daily street market. A short ride there is a famous traditional thai floating market in Taling Chan by the Chakphra Canal.
There are several nice homestays in that area - old thai teak wood houses on stilts just overlooking slowly moving canals. You are in the middle of verdant and vast, lush gardens.

Don't ruin your vacation in lovely Paris by renting from these BAD LANDLORDS.Web site is aparishomes.com. The bad landlady is Elisabeth Ban. She acts very nice but is cutthroat.
She kept my $350 deposit for no reason. She assured me that I would receive my deposit if I left the place clean - I did - they approved. They said they would return my deposit after renting it out during the remainder of the term (I wanted out of there as soon as the taxi dropped me off! BAD Neighborhood). They did rent it and still no deposit returned! I even had a written agreement from them.
Plus to add to all of this:
1) The apartment was in a seedy neighborhood. The flat itself is very nice but I did not feel safe going out at night. There were no nice cafes or shops nearby. You see lots of boarded up or closed businesses. 4 blocks away it is nice (which is what they photographed on their website as the neighborhood).
The other apartment in Republique that they offered was also in a charmless neighborhood. Very seedy side street. Shops are all import/export warehouse type businesses. Republique Flat is nice but neighborhood is not.
They are very slick and fake. There are so many nice places with nice landlords. Do not trust these - they lie! They do not allow negative comments posted on the supposedly unbiased "Comments" link. So BEWARE!
